Using Baby D's classic 'Let Me Be Your Fantasy', Bashy has made a track that will be rinsed all summer, I can picture it already (reeeewiiind!) !! Can I start with..."looooooooooool".... I never thought Lowkey would ever go on this tip, but i guess he felt strongly enough to do it. Known for his political lyrics and speeches this was definitely not expected. Some people have commented on how Lowkey should have never sunk to this level..but in his defense... he is allowed to just kill someone lyrically for the fun of it... it certainly had me LOL throughout the entire track! Big track! Don't get me wrong, Chimpmunk has done good for himself but for everytime I've seen him, he seems very up himself.. soo I guess Lowkey was simply "grounding" him! Ima attach the lyrics coz its tooo funny and gonna highlight my fave lyrics......." "pregnant head!!!" (ROTFL) You are not the grime scene saviour

When I first saw this I was like "huh?"... Then it just made it clear how powerful an unsigned rapper can be using his voice as his only weapon/defense.

Lowkey is known for attending numerous protests and talks, standing out and standing strong as the Voice of the public. Also known as Kareem Dennis, Lowkey is not just a rapper, hes a poet, a political activist and a Representative of many souls worldwide.

I think this interview has show how far Lowkey has grown as an artist and a person.

"Israel is a terrorist state and now a pirate state."

His words are powerful.. he speaks with confidence and his knowledge is detailed. He isn't just an excited rapper on a hype.. hes a powerful rapper with a lot to say, enough to capture the attention of international waters while risking himself for naming names and speaking the truth.

I can't say it enough.. but Lowkey is truly the Voice of the Voiceless... Well done Brother!

DJ RNS (AKA Manotti de Vinci) has stepped out his comfort zone and has experimented with electronica/house music. With the use of some hip hop tracks this mixtape definitely holds a unique flavor and sound.

I turned up at Shepherds Bush Empire just before 6pm... 5:54pm... First in the Queue! (first time EVER!!) Its Mos Def!.. Definitely worth the wait!! .. Obviously all my people where running late.. running on African/Arabic timing! Cha!

Got into the venue.. seated my Tushy in the Balcony section. This section was the closest one can get to Mos Def on Level one!

DJ was on point and the supporting act where really cool. Sadly like most artist Mos Def was running......LATE!!! 10Pm he comes out! .. Begins with Super Magic from his latest album- The Ecstatic!

He mainly sang tracks from The Ecstatic.. I was sooo glad he did my favorite track off the album "Auditorium (feat. Slick Rick)" ... I Heart this track A LOT!! Lyrics.. concept, beat and SLICK RIIIIIIIICK!

Later on I saw the girls who got pushed around and Mos Def took them backstage and thanked them and apologized for the girls behavior!! (Owwwwwww!)

He ended the night with "Umi Says"..A classic that everyone can sing along to!

Mos Def showed how humbled he was to be amongst his UK fans! He kept thanking us for coming and on a number of occasions gave shout outs to his Muslim Sisters (Pow!!!!!)

After he sang his final track he unplugged the mic and the DJ played outro tracks and Mos Def began handing out roses to the audience! If only I was on the ground floor! (Darn it!)

He then began to mime the songs being played by the DJ and dancing!

This was such a unique experience! It was a blessing to be part of it!

Lucky for meeeee and my EarthAngel, we met Mos Def at the end of the show!! WOOOOHOO! Its still very Surreal!

Erykah Badu - Window Seat

Shes Baaaaaack!

Everyone has been going on about how controversial the video for 'Window Seat' is.. the fact that she strips down.

True it is a good twist, but the message behind the video itself is so much stronger and meaningful then a bit of Booootaay.

In the beginning of the the Video, a radio clip is used that is very similar to the radio transcript that was aired as JFK reached the same location to where Erykah filmed her video.

Mz Badu Walks through the streets of Dallas, going down the exact route that JFA walked through before being murdered. As she walks down the street she begins to remove items of clothing before she ends up naked at the same spot where JFK was assassinated, where she is then shot in the head.

The video was shot with a hidden camera so apparently people didn't know she was filming anything, and if anything they thought she was a random lady losing the plot.

The video was shot on the 13th March 2010 with no pre-warning to the public.

So I would definitely suggest everyone watching it a couple of times:

First time: To see the hype of Erykah's Booty! LOL!

Second time: Really take in the lyrics and the concept of the video!

I feel so shamed to say I only discovered this talented lady 6months ago!!

Shout out to Lastfm.com for blessing me with such a wonderful vocalist!!

Now usually when I hear the word 'Algebra' I wanna run a mile as I cannot stand maths!!! But little did I expect to associate it with an angelic sounding songstress!

Through her voice and the melody this neo-soul raw talent uncovers a heart-felt, vulnerable style that is overwhelmingly powerful and at times breath taking.

As soon as she sang the first couple of words of one of her songs "In this time", I was immediately captivated and wanted to hear more. The more I got into the track the more she began to sound very close to India Arie. (I even made my sister hear her, and her first reaction was "is this India Arie?")

In the most recent interview with Tim Westwood, Lil Wayne – whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. confirmed that Nivea, R&B singer, had become pregnant with his FOURTH child, although that’s all he shared with the DJ.

That makes it three children in one year!

Jay Sean Makes History…. Twice!!

British singer Jay Sean has taken over the US number one spot, removing Black Eyed Peas off the top spot.

After a mind blowing 26 weeks at the top of the US charts with ‘Boom Boom Pow‘ and ‘I Gotta Feeling’, Jay Sean new single ‘Down’ featuring Lil Wayne, shot to the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 after selling 1.5 million downloads in total.

"It's just incredible to have reached number one with my first release in America," the 27-year-old said.

The 27-year-old West London R&B singer & Songwriter who was originally signed to Virgin records and then Jaydad (his own record label)/2point9 Records, quit all labels as he felt they were making him sound too popish for his liking.

Sean goes on to express how he feels: "It's difficult for me to put into words, my head is spinning. I've been grinding hard for the last seven years releasing records independently and now to have the biggest record in the USA this week, it's just a dream come true."

In 2008, Jay Sean appeared at the Mobos and announced that he was signed to Cash Money records, which is home to Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Baby/Birdman and very recently Bow Wow. “Ride It” singer has made history again by becoming the first ever British Asian to be signed to a US record label….Go On Son!!!

Solange Knowles appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show to discuss her addiction she had to looking good, with her drug being Hair extensions & Weave.

Beyonce’s little sister, Solange, “pulled a Britney” earlier this year and has shaved her head. I know what your thinking! OMG! But it’s not as bad as you think! According to the Daily Mail Solange wrote on her Twitter page that she was going through a 'I wanna cut all my Hair off & have a fade (cropped haircut) phase'.

As expected, being the sister of the R&B Diva, Beyonce, means she gets a lot of attention. The singer, who released a number one record “I decided” in 2008, has joked that the constant comparisons to her superstar sister might tip her over the edge and send her into a Britney-style meltdown.

She said: 'I get asked about Beyonce all the time but I try and make fun of it, sometimes I say she's not my sister. Other times I say I've stuffed her in my suitcase and sent it to Dubai. I have to have fun with it or I'll turn into Britney - shave my head and go totally crazy.’

On the Oprah show when she was asked how much money she spent on her hair Solange said: "Realistically I was spending about $40,000-$50,000 a year and probably half of my life, I grew up in a hair salon, my mum owned a hair salon.

"There was always this feeling of always wanting to be in the salon once or twice a week and I got a perm pretty early - I was four."

Its safe to say Solange isn’t going “Crazy” like Britney and defiantly looks like she’s going to have extra pocket money since she cut her hair earlier this year.

After the recent split from Sugababes, Keisha is ready to launch her solo career with a help of her friend and songwriter, Taio Cruz.

The original member of Sugababes is to team up with the “She’s Like a Star” hit-maker and former ghost-writer as Taio made it clear he will be there to support her through the early stages of her solo career: ‘I would absolutely work with Keisha if she wanted me to. She can be sure that I will help her out…’

Jade Ewen, former UK Eurovison singer, has now replaced Keisha Buchanan as the third member of the band, who has had 2 previous member removed and replaced.

Original members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy formed Sugababes in 1998. However Donaghy departed and the introduction of Heidi Range in 2001 was met, the group then survived a second line-up change in 2005, when Mutya Buena left and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah.

Hearsay about the band’s future was triggered early last month when Amelle failed to show for a gig at London’s Movida nightclub.

At the time it was reported she had gone missing after being involved an argument with former band member Keisha, however it was later confirmed that she failed to turn up because her friend had been in a ‘bad accident’.

Keisha, who was accused of bullying Amelle, revealed on Twitter at the time: ‘I may come across as a hard nut sometimes, but I’m actually really sensitive and it destroys me to think people see me as the longest standing member and assume that I’m the b***h who causes people to walk, and it’s totally untrue and unfair.’

Keisha released a statement on her twitter, but I’ll save you the speech…. OK .. I’ll give you my favorite bits!

‘Remember my drunk pictures out with Amelle, supporting her on her success with Tinchy Stryder… Oh the shame… But what a fun night we had.

I’m sure your all wondering, ‘Where the *$%! is Dr Dre?’ well hes been gone for a hot minute, but hes coming back.

Everyone who knows about D.R.E and his production process, should know he likes to make each track a masterpiece, so no doubt when his album drops in 2010, we will be expecting to hear perfection.

Dre ’s been working on ‘Detox’ for the past 10 years, and he says it will finally be finished this year. “Hopefully, I’ll get it done at the end of this year, and we can hear it next year,” the good doctor explained.

Earlier this year some of Dres’ tracks were leaked online with vocals of T.I, Nas and Eminem, so fans are hoping to hear the same when the official album drops.
When Dre was asked why the album had taken so long he said “motivation, other things getting in the way.”

50 Cent as also made comments about the new album as he jokingly stated that he’d recorded material for ‘Detox’ that was too good he wanted to take to keep the tracks to himself.

50 added: “Hopefully, he’ll get it done and put it out…I’m waiting for the ‘Detox.’ All I can say is, Dr. Dre is the best producer in my eyes. Just the consistency over the years. He knows what he wants. He’s such a perfectionist that it becomes difficult for him to put it out.”

Expect the usual assortment of Aftermath guests to appear on the new album, including 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Bishop Lamont. Dre told MTV News that Jay-Z and Lil Wayne might also appear on the album.

2010 isn’t that far away and I’m sure with it being Dr Dre and the all the artist that maybe on it.. it will be worth the long *** wait! 10 years maaaaan!!!

R.Kelly who is renowned for his song writing has recently confessed that despite his musical talents he suffers from illiteracy and managed to scrap his way thought grade school.

The award-winning artist recently spoke at the Midwest Music Festival in Chicago; about the issues he faced while kicking off his career.

"When I was trying to make it out here, I already knew, and I was stubborn about it," he said. "I don't even read really and I'm not afraid to say that. My cousins and brothers used to tease me 'you can't even read right. How you think you're going to come up?' The only reason I graduated from grammar school is because I had a great jump shot. I went to high school and [my teacher] told me 'you will one of the greatest writers of all time.' I believed. You [have to] believe it. You can't believe [anything] if you're hating. You can't achieve [anything] if you're hating."

Its evident that this disability has not stopped the “Number 1 Sex” singer from his ever growing success since he began his career 1990.

Statistics released in January 2009 by the U.S. Department of Education state that 1 in 7 Americans couldn’t read, that's about 32 million people across the country.

Many of these illiterate Americans lack basic literacy skills meaning they can't read a book or the directions on a pill bottle.

We all know how Divarish Kanye West can get and how he keep it real with the love for himself and his freedom of speech, even if that speech is painful to watch. You do remember the VMAs 2009 right? Taylor Swift? Beyonce??

When TMZ.com caught up with Kanye as he was leaving Los Angeles eatery and asked if he chose to dine on chicken or fish, Mr West sarcastically expressed his love to Chicken.

“Well the way I came up with that decision was, I’m kind of hungry and I just … um … I think I wanted some chicken because I’m black — [so] you know I like chicken a lot,” he said. “I’m gonna’ do a commercial for chicken for free.”

As funny as it sounds, I reckon Yeezy does have a thing for chicken as he recently kicked off a fuss a surprise appearance at the “Common & Friends” benefit concert in Los Angeles, according to Vibe Magazine.

He was demanding to know “Why wasn’t I offered chicken?… You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating … Why am I not eating?”

Adding fuel to the fire, West allegedly yelled at the waitress when she noted that he hadn’t actually asked for anything to eat (Isn’t she a brave one!)

Mr West being as uncharismatic as it is, once served, onlookers revealed that he took only one bite of the chicken before throwing it out.

Ahh Kanye West, you truly fill our lives with excitement with your crazy shenanigans!!

According to ‘The Sun’ newspaper, Roc-A-Fellas’ front man has said he would love to collaborate with Liam Gallagher.

Jay-Z who was last year criticized by Liam’s brother, Noel, stating he should not have headlined the Glastonbury music festival, urges Liam to give him a call so they can work on music together.

This came up after the rapper behind ‘Drop it like its hot’, Snoop Dogg wanted to work with Liam’s brother Noel Gallagher.

The hip-hop mogul said “I hear Snoop Dogg might be teaming up with Noel. If that’s the case then I would like to work with Liam.”

Jay-Z continues on to compliment their style, evidently letting go over last years clash and focusing on the potential success of the collabo.

“Their music is tight and I think we could blend our styles well. When I teamed up with Linkin Park nobody expected that to work but we made a massive success of it. The same could happen with Liam.”

Bouncing off his previous accomplishment with Linkin Park he goes on to say: “When you have two artists like us in a room just throwing about ideas you come up with something brilliant fairly easily. I don’t know what he is up to now but he can give me a call.”

I think there comes a point in most relationships when this song is RELEVANT!!

Its exactly what us Ladies do! We trust our men, but are still tempted to look on his phone... Then we find the most silliest thing to hold against him... 90% of the time we know he ain't cheating.. we just wanna FIGHT!

"Whats wrong? you say nothing, but I can blatantly see that its something!"

Now what WE ladies fail to understand is ... Men are simple... so after we see it we get all iggy and funky but refuse to directly say anything... Instead we get cold/screw our face... for every conversation he generates we reply with two words at best... Leaving him to get frustrated and getting him to repeatedly ask if everything is ok ......

"I ask if you want food? You say no but I can hear your belly rumbling"

Why we do this I don't know! But it takes 3 to 4 times of him asking if we are ok for us to turn around and say "don't worry about it" or "I donno YOU tell ME" ...WTF!! LOL!

By this point he has NO IDEA what the Rass your talking about...If anything your just giving him a headache... Simple men and psycho attention seeking moment for women, don't mix!

Mind games are truly on! I must reiterate... Men are simple and aren't too phazed!! So they won't beg us for an answer, they'll just leave you be, however somehow something they says so innocently turns into a massive outbreak from our side (like we time it...."not now.. not now... not.. now.......EXPLODE!!).....

"Why you acting like a Pessimist....looking through my messages..don't you trust man?"

Referring back to the fact that guys are simple... it also means us ladies take it to another level of emotion and thought... So, a simple "hey John, how are you babes?" text, leads into "omg she called him babes.. what!! Is she something special, why is she calling him by his first name.. its not formal coz she said babes at the end... " then we take it to another level "is she trying to sound sexy or sumthing.. wtf is she doing textin? Who is this Alicia??" LOOOOOOOOOL!

Where else the guy is 'Simply' thinking.. "erm its just mate.. " and believe it or not... it is what it is...

Don't get it twisted ... Some guys are playing around ... but us ladies do make things ten times worse by creating a whole episode of Eastenders in our head (theme tune and all!!) instead of asking a few questions then knowing where/how to drop it!! In this track Bashy mentions how shes crying... Its not because of what HE said... its THAT episode of Eastenders is STILL playing in her head with the dramatic ending, which is "OMG hes messing with her and has 3 kids with her, that I don't know of.......BABY MAMA DRAMA!!!" .. The imagination WONDERS faaaaaaaaar!

What next? We want to end things! Want to dramatically walking away..... Causing an unnecessary scene!! Grr!! LOL!

Ladies..... Let a guy have his females and stop fishing for stuff to fight about ....

I'm sure you've all heard the adverts on radio, seen the posters and watched the adverts on TV......
ItDoesntHaveToHappen is an anti-knife crime campaign designed to involve and captivate young people, to promote peace on the street, within their own communities.

Throughout February and March 2009, a number of anti-knife crime events took place in the 10 Tackling Knives Action Programme (TKAP) across England and Wales.

The events included school activities, street theatre, football tournaments, peer-to-peer marketing initiatives and workshops in attendance centres, all of which engaged thousands of young people with anti-knife crime messages.

The events informed young people of the dangers of carrying knives, equipped them with conflict resolution techniques, and helping them to find positive alternatives to knife culture.

ItDoesntHaveToHappen events were coordinated by young people, police, teachers, youth workers and community groups.

The campaign has now expanded, earlier this year a BeBo page was dedicated to ItDoesntHaveToHappen. The page allowed young people to take part, air their views and create their own ItDoesntHaveToHappen poster.

In addition, UK musicians, DJs and Actors have also took part in spreading the message.

Richard Blackwood dedicated a "Real Talk" seminar to ItDoesntHaveToHappen...

This is one of my favorite tracks right now! The lyrics speak very literary and is a some what of a reflection on young people Every time I heard the track I can picture each scene being played out.

Whenever I really like a track; I set expectation, high expectations, then the video is released and has no reflection of the lyrics or is off point, which results in me hating the track and losing faith in the artist.

The other day I was flicking through the channels and came across AKA and I was ecstatic when I saw Ransom was released.

I rate it 4/5. Reason I didn't give it 5/5 is due to the fact I don't get the ending!!! (LOL) last I checked Bashy was in a bath yet was up against two men.....hmm... (Musta used his Bish Bash Bosh Powers) However the video is Big! Its dark and reflects 100% on the lyrics.

Acting skills 5/5. Scorcher, Wretch 32 and Bashy acting was convincing and the video length was perfect. AKA only show only the duration of the entire song, but its been released online with an intro totaling it just over 6 mins long.

I can't believe this video has been out for over 4 months and I just came across it a week ago!!! (not impressed with I). I'm just excited that Bashy made a video of it.

Catch Me If You Can.

This is the title of Bashy's new album. Oh My Gosh! When I heard Bashy had an album coming out I didn't really know what to expect. Hearing his previous mixtapes and his tracks "Black Boys" and "Kidulthood to Adulthood" I really respected Bashy on many levels and was anxiously waiting for the album to drop.

My sister brought me his album the same week it was released. For some reason I didn't want to hear it, not just yet, worried it would be less then I expect (deeper level tracks with concept.)

Postponed it for a WEEK. I then finally decided to rip it straight onto my iPhone and hear it on the way to work!

Initial response... "WOW,, why did I leave it this long?" . My sister said someone told her to look out for "living my dream" track as its meant to be one of the best..... No doubt it was a very 'on-point' track about where Bashy is at.

But for me? 'Change' REALLY got me!!! For a week my facebook status was

"If I Had It All Again . . . Nah I Wouldn't of Cried At My Birth, I Would Of Smiled.. Just Happy to be Alive on this Earth, I would of walked at 5 months.. I wouldn't of Wasted Time Because As Soon As Your Born You Begin to Die."

- The entire track gives me goosebumps. Those lyrics have a least one line that everyone can really truly reflect on and very thought-provoking.

I liked the storytelling style throughout the album. every lyric really had my attention. 'Before Before' is a perfect example of a track that a lot of people in their 20s+ could relate to. The track takes us back to the train tickets (Jumping over the barrrrier) , Early days of Dizzee Rascal (Jezebel) and So Solid, Black Chat, Pay as you go and Nokia Changing faces phones. Not forgetting Snes (Super Nintendo) and Real McCoy. Listening to this the first time I was on the train and couldn't stop smiling, Bashy really took it back for me.

The way Bashy lays out his lyrics allows everyone to have an insight of the different style and thoughts of Bashy. From Up beat Hyper tracks such as "Who wants to be a millionaire?" to a dark yet very real track featuring Wretch 32 and Scorcher named "Ransom."
"Shes a Gangster" ... The title speaks for itself. It is definitely a feel good track that can be blazed in car stereos.... If only I could drive!!! :P

"Sorry" Featuring Zalon- A track that exposes a very grounded side of Bashy, that talks straight to every woman... an warm apology for every negativity that's been inflicted directly from a man.

Swine Flu Skank.... oh Golly Gosh!

So Everyone has been stressing over the Swine flu! I mean even I thought I had it!! (Which I DONT).... But there's gotta be a limit to how far people are taking it!!

I was on the train the other day and I was having a mini party in my head listening to Some Mos Def and Talib Kwali........ and as like most people who have hayfaver I sneezed when I made contact with fresh air filled with Pollen!!

Bare in mind I has to stop my party unexpected to release this funky feeling in my nose...aka 'The Sneeze"..... So my main concern was to close my eyes and return to the party that I left sooo rudely...... although THAT didn't quit go dooown!!!!!!

I looked up to see most of the carriage staring at me like I had blurted "FUCCCCCCCCCCCCK" so loudly! No No ....... I just sneezed!

And thanks to the good old adverts in the newspapers and this SERIOUS video (Below) most people where prepared to handle any sneeze they produced.. they simply Catch it.... Bin it ... Kill it! ... ...........Well I wasn't!! Oh my Gosh did I feel like people wanted to kill me for it!

The hand I used to cover my mouth had no where to go! it just floated in mid air . Yes I know "along with my Germsssss!!!!!"...... I was AFRAID to place it anywhere...Not to even to hold the paper!
People where watching me like I was a Tiger without a leash! Damn Homies, you need to relax...... !

Some people moved away (although there wasn't much room to move IN) and others kept looking at me in disgrace like I just blurted a racist remark!! WTF !!

Luckily for me!!! ....... A baby in a pram who wasn't too far from me sneezed THREE times.... Oh my Gosh I was soooo Excited!! You are questioning why? HELLO The pressure and attention wasn't on me anymore! IT was on THE KID!! And the parents!!

Mwahahahha! However by that point some people were seriously freaking out.... I'm talking about people Switching Carriages or simply leaving the train and waiting on the next! No!!.. that child didn't blurt the word "fuck" nor did she look like a tiger and Definitely didn't shout out a racist remark! People where too much! I, at that point, actually laughed a little loudish.. thinking its Ridiculous!!

Is it just me or has Anyone Else experience some crazy ish on public transport linked to the Pigs flying ish??? Its officially a CRiME to sneeze on the London Underground!! Friggz!

Grrr..... I'm ill!!! Left work early as I felt my head would blow if I stayed any longer! Not only do I have this cold/flu/feaverish ish that's going round...... But Aunty Flow is here and she aint shifting for a minute.

And as a youth I always wanted to meet Donell Jones and Tyrese.... But I didn't Wanna come across as a crazy ass fan (which i AM!) but instead a clam person who doesn't really know who they are just "bumped" into them and thought "hmm Cute!" .........

Kept telling myself I won't scream with excitement and I won't talk about them....but instead.. I'd act "coooool" so they thinks "wow shes a fly chic and she isn't obsessed with me!!!" Looooool! Gosh did I give it too much thought.. but I was 13 going on 30 at the time.

Wow didn't realise the list is that Loooong! I know some people are gonna be reading this and going "I met more"......Well I didn't meet them coz of my career or coz I got someone whos can "hook me up"......... I Just happen to bump into them (well besides musiq.. I waited for him after his gig! )

So I've met allllllll these people and with every single one of them I didn't know what to say. (well besides cleopatra.. I just spoke to them casually)

Only after I walked away from them do I know what to stay!! And gosh Did I have things to say..

Then there are Celebs that I have seen but not approached and this is Why:

Do I approach them and accidentally bug the hell out of them as obviously I wasn't the first or last person to approach them in one day and them thinking "so that's sad fan number 203 for today"

Say Hi and that's it? now I'd look like a random person just saying Hi to random people

Do I say "I really like your material/acting/voice (etc)" for them to say thank you and walk away.....

smile at them as i'm going past so they could go "ok freak!!"

Then again.... If I ignore them then..

They'd think I was trying to be "too cool " and not say hello.

I was rude to ignore them like they I don't know who they are

They may get depressed that they are going past hundreds of people and not a single person acknowledged them

I saw him on Saturday in Fulham Broadway when I was going Cash point inside Sainsbury's.... He was leaving Sainsbury's as I was going in.... I instantly recognized him.. told my sister and she was not bothered ..... But me being a fan of his work I really wanted to do something.... but he looked at me and I just looked away like I was guilty of stealing his shades!! WTF is wrong with me. why can't I just say something?? he was ALONE!! and he had a Nandos Bag that he threw away so clearly he ATE alone! The moment went as he walked off while I play my exit theme music in my head "Hes Like a star.. like a star.... Like a star... Hes like a Star" ..... in both English and Arabic

Then on my way up to go movies, I saw him in Joy!! another eye contact but not even a friggin smile could come out of me!! again WTF is wrong with me?? Dude I just look rude .. or could he read the excited/cool look in my eyes? and thought "keep away from the crazy bitch!" lol!

I know your all thinking..... Hebz its not like its "T.I or something" well for your information "T.I is just a normal person to someone else in the states.. and Taio is Talented" ........ Thank you!!

So on the flip side.... Hopefully I will be seeing Mr Trey Songz and J. Holiday at the end of the Month!!

Oh and Brian McKnight is in concert..... ugh and Ne-Yo the choices are endless and my money is limited. Grr.

No more AA

Driving!!

Gosh, I began my driving Lessons around a year ago... You know, It was exciting to book that first lesson, then to have it..... I booked mine with AA. Thought "hmmm Ford Focus? Decent car to practice in!" ...... so payed for 24 hours up front!

Took 20 hours of lessons on a manual car.. Passed my Theory with two mistakes...... and booked my Practical test, only to get a call to tell me my instructor has double booked and guess who has to cancel?........ME!!! Son of A GUN!!

So third year uni took over my life which meant the lessons had to stop... That shouldn't be a problem if I was told "Heba you drive like a MAN!!" and to me in the driving world is considered a compliment. I mean He couldn't be talking about anything else riiight?????

Now 8 Months have passed! I call Up AA because I wanna do my TEST ASAP!! Wanna have my own Currrrrrrr!! (car!) Buuuuuuuuuut...... I don't want my old instructor, I mean me and him were cool, maybe too cool for us to take each other seriously, I need to PASS not gossip!

Not sounding Shallow but I got the person from AA to read a list of all the MALE manual instructors in my area...... Ali...Malik ..Akbur.. Mohammed .. Denis....."stop there!!" Sounds like someone I can work with!

No disrespect to the others, but this is my money and at that stage I am entitled to Stereotype!! If they are Arab and/or Muslim (WHICH I AM!!!!!! thought I'd Clarify that) I have a slight feeling they'd rinse me for as many lessons as possible! Could be Very wrong but decided to stick to my stereotypes! Ignorant I am!!

Mr AA man agreed with me that my first lesson will take place in XXXXXX on XXXXX and how my instructor will call me before hand to confirm the times!!!! "yay! I might have my license b4 my 23rd!!"

So my phone ringss.. and its my instructor Denis! first reaction in my head is "woooooaaah is this a joke?"... again I must mention me being human I stereotyped him as BIG GAY Jamaican....... Must emphasis ..... I have no issues with anyone being gay ( as I have gay friends) or being Big (I'm one to speak) Nor Jamaican ( My other half and many of my friends are orig from same background!)

I mean I could be wrong.. but my explanation behind this stereotype is ...... the higher the voice the Bigger they are, For some reason I can tell what race a person is from just by their tone in voice, not Accent! .. Just TONE! I'm Talented!

Brace yourself to this......... So I turn up... Guess what?? He is a big Gay Jamaican ! Oooh I'm starting to think my stereo types are accurate!!

His first few sentences made me feel anxious, he was loud, in my face and clearly stated a few times that "no other instructor can do it like him! "

So he then begins to ask me a few questions like "what is this?" ( pointing at what I though up until then is a Rear view Mirror) So with all confidence thinking it was such a STRAIGHT FORWARD easy question I replied "rear view mirror!!!"......

Thats when he turned around and stuck his finger in my face and said "Nuh!.... This is like a woman's handbag.... we all have one...... but ONLY WEEEE get to see whats in it!..... Its called a Drivers Mirror hunni!" ..... How am I mena react to that? Wow! ok???? Was it really necessary?

Then he told me to get to know the steering wheel and the gear stick and I quote "touch it .. caress it.. get to them... feel every Bump! " ........... again WOaah! Was it NECESSARY? like I'm starting to think this dude is on crack!
So That alone made me feeel soooo uneasy and tense about driving and may I mention........ At night!!!! ....

One I starting driving I clearly was still getting the hang of it ......but Mr Handbag was refusing for me to relax..... told me I was killing the steering wheel...... REALLY? REALLY? Do u blame me????

Me being the joker I am , I made him laugh a few times, Oh did I regret it! Every time he Laughed he'd slap me across my arm and hysterically rock back and forth having a laughing fit and then suddenly stop , stare and me and erupt with another set of laughter! Nah .... Nah.. don't Touch me.... I don't know you like thatQ Really????

SO right now, for the first time EVER I looked at the time praying its almost home time.. coz right now I'm feeling homesick!!! WTF!! But No no nooooo I got another hour and a Half!
All this time and torture and its only been half an hour?????

Throughout the lesson he kept reminding how great he finds himself and everytime he asked me questions, he really didn't give me a chance to reply and he again stuck his finger in front of my face rotated his neck 180 degrees and told me "Nooo.. coz your previous instructor isn't me!"

Everytime I did well he'd click his fingers 5 times while staying "Wickiiiiid wickiiiiid"..... Dude I can't relax if everything is soo hyped and Over Crazy!! I need to Focus on driving not on where your finger is flying to!!!

SO end of lesson he asked me what i thought of him, but as it was soo surreal , I was thinking this is as good as a dream (but a nightmare) so I can say what I want coz once I leave the Car I will wake up!! SO I said he was good in parts, but he was too much for me, like he made me anxious!! (wow I'm brave!.. this could of turned ugly) ....... he instantly got defensive and ask if he was tooo enthusiast .......... I think replied with a hint of frustration ... "enthusiasm is GOOD...... Its just your Approach!!" ........ bottom Line.... I made an excuse to why i couldn't confirm future dates and that I'd contact him..... Felt like a first date gone sour and me saying "Don't call me.... I'll call you" only for the person to never call back....

so I contcted AA... I need me a new intructor and I give up on Manual...... This dude converted me ..... BIG TIME!

So right then I just wanted to pass my test.. and just be able to go from A to B ....... don't care about gears anymore!!! AUTOMATIC... (Yess I did insult most ppl who drive automatic..... Lazy Mofos... I am now one of you!!! )

So got new instructor ..... Byron....... Left me a voice message " Ello Eba this is Baroon your driving instructor from the Ah Ah".......... no stereotypes.. the accent speak itself.... All I could think of at that time is Little Ms Docelyen! LOL! But he sounded much cooler than my last instructor..

1st lesson, Very laid back dude... let me drive.. was very on point....... Me thinking..... Yeah this is gonna go smooooothly!!! Again..... I was wrong....... 2nd lesson, he made us park up in a petrol station while he spoke to family in Lagos.. REALLLY??? Am I being pranked ? I'm having a Lesson! Damnit people!!

Then when I began to drive He received another 3 more calls from Lagos.. where he had long conversations while I drove at 8pm almost crashing in a few cars..... Dude ..... Not Cool!

3rd Lesson....... couldn't tell you how that when..... waited 20 mins.... called him..... that when he went "Ohhh ello ebaaa.. Ow are you?? " .. Yeah I'm waiting and have been for 20 mins.. "ohh we had a lesson today???" ..... what the Rasss... YESSS we do! "ohh I am running behind schedule and I forgot to call you!" ......Dude..... not Cool!

Call up AA again........... I want my Money I'm done with this ! Next move............ CRASH COURSE!!! Anyone know a good company for intensive lessons? Need to get this Sorted!!

People People, I'm in such a dilemma !! I Have a Love for music, so Live music is my thing..... Oh Gosh this month is my Birthday month and due to my Holiday to Disneyland, Paris, my Pockets are empty!!!
Also this month are two concerts I REALLY want to go to!!! Like REALLY want to go to!!
Musiq Soulchild Vs. J. Holiday and Trey Songz!!!!! All at the Indigo!!! OK I've seen my Musiq live around 7 times and met him once!!

But I'm too dedicated to not feel crappy about missing hearing his new album live, Especially not being able to hear "SoBeautiful" LIVE!!!!! Body Like a Mutha Fucker.... Damn Right .. . LOL! I sooo I wanna here these tracks annnnnnd "I cant breathe when you talk to me,

BUT do i really wanna go to another concert filled with Teenage hormones??? Stupid Young ones getting Hysterical over these men??? We only have room for one Crazy Fan....... Thats me!! everyone else just looks silly! LOL! I'm joking!!

On the Realliooo .. I wanna hear them preform LIIIVE!!! (before someone says "listen to their album!!") and not a bunch of screaming Chics...... Sing along please do!! Just don't scream!!

See With Musiq The audience is much different then these two guys or any other male artist under the age of 30.. as girl under 20 cannot control their emotions!!! With Mr Soulchild People actually either singly (Politely) along with him and remain silent so they can hear him sing so soulfully!! ... Why can't that happen elsewhere?????

Disneyland- Birthday

Finally 23!
So it was approaching my birthday and I didn't know what I wanted to do and what presents I desired!

I mean I got all year to think up a gift I really Want but Thank God, I didn't need anything.

As for what to do? I've really wanted to Just up and leave ENGLAND not just London, So Marrakesh was on the tables and so was Portugal.. But I was never really in it!

So after much research I decided I wanted a fun packed day that made me feel like I was getting YOUNGER instead of OLDER........................ hmm were to go to relive your childhood? hmm....

DISNEYLAND, PARIS!!!!!!!

Thats it!! I knew that WHERE I WANTED TO GO! No other place can keep me 100% Happy!!!

So then I began my official hunt for my total package, baring in mind I only had a week until my birthday, so this is Last min searching! With the help of my younger sister I was felt that this can be done!!

Last minute. com was really useless ........ everything overly priced.

So Was the official Disneyland website. Sorry, we ain't paying £600 each for 2 nights! Do I look like a Mug! Me naaaaaaaah think soo!

then I came a priceline.com, where I found Magic Circus Hotel, which was VERY close to Disneyland, I'm talking 4 min drive!!!

The Prices for the rooms where decent.... So with no time to spare....... I booked it! Obviously not thinking about other bookings, such as transport and Disneyland Park itself.

So next thing was transport, I thought Eurostar, best option, I mean EVERYONE does it! Can't be that expensive !!! LOL! How wrong I was!! Gosh! £120 return..........EACH?? Pssht! I'd rather ride a cow to paris!!

Other options:

Plane.........Frikking expensive
Car.. Long but Cheap!!1

Who can guess what one we went for??

6 HOURS DRIVE!!!!! It was 6 of us, my sisters and my beautiful friends...Woohoo! Get to go on a Ferry (never done b4) and a ROAD Trip!!

Booked the tickets for Disneyland and we where ready to go.
got there safely... at 2am in the morning. Hotel was fly and so was their breakfast..

The whole trip was full of fun got to see the Eiffel tower as we drove past it! lol!
Besides the car accident or shall i say "bump" .. I can say I had a wonderful 23rd B-day in Paris.

I can officially Say I have gone to Paris... Bout time!!!

Don't get Londoners when it comes to Underground!!!!!!

Every morning as I set out to work, I do my Daily Prayer to get to work Safely (yes I do!!) then as I reach the train station, I get my iPod out and try and find at least two tracks in a row that I wanna hear to set the tone for my day.

Now I'm that I've gotten my metro and waiting for my train, all the songs I wanna hear first thing in the morning have been long gone and now I'm just letting whatever song that comes on get me through the my journey to work.

Ideally all I want to do is turn my music up as loud as possible to drown the noise of people coughing and the driver who keeps reminding us that we are held at a signal at every Darn station.

However owe to LOVELY WONDERFUL (Gritting my Teeth) TFL we have all these new Campaigns that clearly state that I Shouldn't... so These are my rules:

If i can see the sign on my train.. my music is lowered..

If for some reason I cannnnnnnnnnnn't......... then I am blazing my beats. (If I can't see it then it doesn't count!!!)

My music is up and on most occasions its not FULLY up, but today IT WAS UPPPP!! London Underground is known for being rubbish, which results to all passengers feeling like a herd of sheep as they are shoving each other on the train.... SO Imagine everyone VEXED!!! with the 1 in 5 person more Vexed than the rest.

So being a bad atmosphere on the train, my music being up is bound to piss someone off.. but you know what? I can hear some techno music screaming from someones ear from across the carriage, so as the TFL would put it, that gives me the "Green Signal" to pump ....it ....UP!

Yes, I got a few 'tuts' here and there.... a people would actually STOP reading , so they can simply identify the culprit (which is of course me and three others (on average) ) SO THEY CAN STARE!!! Until I make eye contact and they shake their heads in disgrace and carry on reading!!

SO I then smile and carry on listening to my music, as unless you ask my politely I'm not touching my iPod besides switching tracks.

Coz of course my little noise is MUCH MUCH louder than people's sneezing, coughing and talking... not forgetting the sound of the train moving!!!

Now to the purpose of this blog...

Summary of above.....

people are so bothered by my music.... .

sooooooo Its Home time..... Same thing applies.... Music on, No sign = Music as Loud as Ever... Its been a long day and like most people I am TIRED, Frustrated and Just Want to get home as QUICK as possible.

I sigh with relief as my train pulls up and even happier when i find a spot for me to lean on closest to the door. SO all i need to do now is relax close my eyes and let the music take over........... OR NOT!!!!

As Dwele is midway through a riff a group of, or what I justified to myself as a Group of Football (amateur) Hooligans began to chant together, but as they were soo WASTED at .. (I look at the time) 5:30PM!!! their words are barely understandable....

They then start mumbling after repeating their chants a Few TOO many times! Thinking finally I can get back into my zone... so lets rewind Dwele back as i missed a bit.

OMG did I NOT have the RELAXED journey that I wanted! They didn't not just Chant.. The FATTesT dude out of them decided to lift his top and hold his Belly like hes pregnant. WTF!! He then "accidentally" hit a woman's book and then shouted at her to let him know what happens in the final chapter.... had he been sober , that would of been funny as he was just making a joke out of a accident but he became aggressive and midway he'd begin chanting which made his mates start off again!

Now I must emphasis on this...... They are in the middle of the carriage and EVERYONE on that carriage and the next could hear what they were shouting as if they were next to them........... They became verbally abusive and made everyone uncomfortable.. ..

What killed it all was that.................. NOT A SINGLE PERSON TUTED AT THEM...... Not even asked them to lower their voices.. NOTHING... NOT EVEN A STARE!!!!!!

Check this............ I ........... I .......I Get given the Evils because my music is UP! ME??? Abuse aggression is of course so much more ACCEPTABLE IN THIS SOCIETY!! Further more...... how can THEY hear my music when I can't due the LOUD Shouting and Chanting that the ignorant bullies were forcing upon EVERYONE!!!!!

The train was just as packed as this morning...difference is people where more frustrated then ever as we ALL wanted to go home to Silence.........

Please someone explain to me HOW this one works out?

I get nasty looks and all the noises under the sun due to the fact a few people can hear a faded tap coming from my ear.. and PLEASE I LISTEN TO NEO_Soul so that not Exactly NOISE!!!

Techno........ Rock...... Dance......... Trance........ on a train....... NOT A GOOD LOOK !!! Or at least not BLAZING ON A PACKED TRAIN!!

p.s There were NOT going to a match.. they were just wasted FAR TOO EARLY!!!

Not a Good Look

Yesterday I was sitting in the passengers side of my sisters car, taking our friend home. It was around 12:45am, baring in mind it was a Saturday night.

I have came to a realization that Alcohol isn't a good look!

I don't drink but don't mind being surrounded by people who are, but why do people drink to get drunk? Lack of confidence? they need a drink to dance the night away Low self esteem? a few drinks to pluck up the courage to make a move on someone or get flirtatious... or just an excuse to act a fool and get loud and obnoxious... Just plain DUMB!?!

On the way to my friends house we drove through central London, we took a corner first thing I saw was a couple standing outside their car ahead. The man was suited and booted and had a massive awkward smile on his face (almost embarrassed) when we caught eyes, then I realised he stood away from his girlfriend , as we drove past I saw this tall lady in beautiful cream and brown dress throwing up in the corner, and had it on her dress.

Imagine if it was a first date? Its not a Good Look maan! How unattractive... Why would someone get themselves so hammered to make a fool out themselves? why end a night like that? IT could of turned uglier..... Drink Driving = Someone Dying!!! Me Nah Care how good of a driver you are!!

SO society has made a joke of it. Possibly in this situation is something worth laughing over as it was two of them together.

However on our journey we came across a guy dressed in a black suit, walking down the street so messed up, his legs weren't even functioning, he looked so distressed and could of easily got knocked over as he was so tilted when he was walking that he was walking on his ankles (his foot was so twisted in as he was walking his ankle was touching the ground)

Now this situation is far from funny, he was alone, in a back street of west end and clearly had no coordination and i would safely guess had not idea where he was heading to.

To me he looked Hella vulnerable. why would you :
a) Get so hammered?
b) leave alone, man or girl, you are soo exposed to such negativity
c) Not arrange transport?

Its far from cool to be getting hammered alone? So lets assume he wasn't alone and he simply left a club after partying with friends.... where his friends at?

Same situation but with a girl.. I say just as vulnerable , regardless of girl or guy.. .
Saw another guy... SAME SITUATION.

So that's four people in an ugly place, from having a "Fun night out".... really??

Thats Just four people that "stumbled" across ME, in central London in a car journey. Meaning this is just a fraction of the drinking population in London, let alone the UK....!!

Don't get me wrong this is not the first time I've seen it, but its the first time to see it and be THAT bothered by it.

Yesterday made me reflect Alcohol to whats really going on with the government.

Alcohol is behind many murders, attacks and suicides. Why do people even touch it?

If you think about it....why did the Government reclassify weed? because it COULD Cause mental health problems, which links to murders and suicide. But it can be argued that A LOT of people smoke weed from teachers, politicians, youth and people aged 50+ but have no negative effect.

Smoking weed without the scent can almost go unnoticed. Yet alcohol is very evident and worrying...

Just looking at peoples behavior on road leaves ME so distressed.

I'm a sucker for talk shows, fake or not, the main reason for break ups and huge mistakes on these shows are linked DIRECTLY to Drinking! ITs it really worth losing Life and loved ones??

Forgetting the minor effects and outcome = embarrassment/foolishness and uncontrollable emotions.

Reason for abusive relationships are dominantly influenced by alcohol. The outcome is ugly and sometimes fatal...

So I ASK ....... why are people even going there? not everyone goes out for the intention to get drunk but that does not always go to plan..

Would you stick your hand in fire with the intention not to get burnt?

I won't get in deeper than I have as I'm just venting how I felt yesterday.

If you drink but never gotten drunk then cool... however if you've done one too many dumb things and/or gotten some what aggressive and acted foolish coz your drunk..........Then You NEED TO CHECK YOURSELF HOMIE!

Leaked Image... Chris Ashamed!

Today a pic was leaked from LAPD of how Rihanna's face is looking after Chris Brown has admitted beating her up.

He can now face charges of attempted murder as Rihanna has told the police that Chris Brown was going to kill her. (Although A lot of people make "I'm gonna kill you" statement when they are angry.. or for example they were told they where given herpes)

What seemed to be a perfect couple clearly took a turn for the worse.. or where they simply portraying themselves as perfect the public and this was the final straw.

Jokes aside for this piece because when you see exactly what he did, this is NOT COOL at all! DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD LOOK ( NO PUN INTENDED! )
Many famous couples break under the pressure of the media but this is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE

She could be irritating to the public at times.. but this is just a next level of aggression.

In his previous interview with MTV, Brown explained how his step dad was abusive and was violent to both mother and her children. The media are beginning to question whether this was a reflection of this mans behavior.

Either way its sad to see such a great artist/person to be tainted by aggression and messing up their future and a relationship that seemed to have fitted in place.

Chris Brown released a statement stating the following:

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”

Feel Sad for the both of them. Such a waste of talent and future.
